Shifting gears

This morning I woke from two different dreams that I was put in a position that I wasn’t “certified” to do [was given authority that I’m not qualified to do]. In my dream, I stood in amazement of what was placed in my lap.

Papa God has truly helped me [many times] to walk out what was before me.  I don’t walk in arrogance that I know “it” all.  I walk in TRUST to know “who” helps me navigate through it all.

I feel as if I’m shifting gears!

When you’re driving a manual vehicle and shifting into a higher gear [let’s say 3rd gear], you start the same speed but quickly accelerate. Then you shift to 4th, and suddenly you’re traveling at a fast speed.

Am I really knocking?

Waking one morning I had only one thing on my mind. And it wasn’t even something that I had been meditating. But the thought was spurred on by a vision I had when waking. In this vision, I was standing in front of a large door knocking. I didn’t recognize this door or even the surrounding landscape, but I was there alone. And then these words were dropped in my heart: “Keep Knocking.”

Never Forget

Seventeen years ago today, our world changed – a shift happened. Now I am not saying that our world hasn’t changed since that tragic day in 2001, but what I am saying is; something happened in how we view the world around us.

There will be stories shared on national networks of how we as a nation have found healing, or perhaps testimonies will be retold of how that day unfolded. Some of us might want to forget the details of that day because it brings too much pain and or fear. And as crazy as this may sound there are some who have only read about that day because they were too young to remember or were not born yet. But either way, this day 9-11, will forever be labeled: Never Forget!

His kiss on me

This morning was a little cool out, so I put a few more layers on than I had in the past week. With my running app on, I walked out the back door, and to my surprise, the traffic was slow, so I was able to start my cadence right out the driveway. As I wound around the first curve I noted my breathing was a bit labored however I was able to get it under control as I thought about taking in longer breaths.

Once I got settled in with a nice little rhythm, I focused my thoughts on what was going on in heaven in that very moment. Instantly I could sense an excitement stirring and great anticipation. Lots of joy, as we know there is joy in heaven, but it was ramped up a notch! YES! Something big is stirring!

Holy Spirit – What keeps it from flowing in my life?

I drove my husband to work and, on my way back home, I prayed for more of the Holy Spirit to come into my life. Quickly after praying this, an idea was dropped inside my heart; the Holy Spirit if fully in your life, there isn’t any “more” to come. You just need to learn to release it more. You’re keeping it from flowing.

Wow, what a sobering thought. I have the full power of the Holy Spirit I just don’t fully release it. With that in the fore front of my mind, I changed into my running shoes and went out the door to run.  How am I limiting the power of the Holy Spirit?
